How much does the hike cost?

We offer both free and paid hikes. The price of each paid hike is listed on its page and depends on the difficulty, duration, and transfer arrangements.

Can a beginner join without prior training?

Yes, if you choose a suitable route. We offer beginner-friendly hikes with clear difficulty ratings, a relaxed pace, and a guide. For your first hike, choose an “Easy” route. “Moderate” routes may require a basic level of fitness.

What should I bring on a hike?

After you register, we will send you a packing list for your specific route. The basics include comfortable footwear, preferably hiking shoes, water, snacks, a hat, sunglasses, sunscreen, a raincoat or windbreaker, and weather-appropriate clothing.

Do I need my own gear?

No. For most day hikes, suitable footwear and weather-appropriate clothing are enough. Trekking poles, footwear traction cleats, and rain gear are available to rent.

Is it safe to hike with you?

The route is led by a guide, the meeting point and time are shared in advance, and the group stays connected through a chat before the hike. We clearly state the difficulty, elevation gain, and pace so you can choose a hike that matches your ability. Learn more on the “Safety” page.

Can I join on my own?

Yes, most participants join on their own. You will hike with a group of like-minded people and get to know each other along the way.

Can I cancel if I’m unable to attend?

Yes. You can cancel through your account on the website or via the link in the email. Cancellation and refund terms are usually listed on the event page.

What language are the hikes conducted in?

The website and communication are available in Kazakh, Russian, and English. Kazakh and Russian are usually spoken within the groups.

What is the difference between a tour and a hike?

A hike is usually a one-day trip to the mountains near the city. A tour is a multi-day journey with accommodation, transfers, and a full itinerary, often in other regions of Kazakhstan or abroad.

Can I book a private or corporate tour?

Yes. We can arrange a tour around your group’s needs, with your preferred dates, route, and format. Submit a request on the “Private Tours” page, and we will suggest a suitable option.

What are “Events” on the website?

Events are activities outside our regular hikes and tours, such as rafting trips, day outings, and themed or partner events. You can register through the form on the event page.
